Passwords

Set your first password, recover a forgotten one, and what happens when an administrator resets it.

Your password belongs to your PGAS account at auth.pgas.ph, the same one you use for other PGAS systems. EOMIS never sees or stores it, so there is no password page inside EOMIS. Everything below happens on the PGAS pages.

Setting your password for the first time

When an administrator adds you to EOMIS, you receive an email titled Set up your EOMIS account.

Open the link in the email. It is valid for 3 days.

The Set your password page asks for your new Password and the same password again under Password (repeat).

Submit. You are signed in to your PGAS account.
Open eomis.pgas.ph to start using EOMIS.

If the link has expired, request a new one with the forgot-password steps below, or ask your administrator to resend the invitation.

Forgot your password?

On the PGAS sign-in page, enter your email address or username and click Log in. On the password step that follows, click Forgot password?.

Confirm your email address or username if asked.

Check your email. The message has the same title as an invitation, Set up your EOMIS account; this is expected. The link is valid for 3 days.

Open the link and choose a new password on the Set your password page, entering it twice.

You are signed in. Open eomis.pgas.ph to continue.

The new password applies to your whole PGAS account, so use it for every PGAS system you sign in to.

Changing your password

To change a password you still know, open My Account → Account Security in EOMIS and click Manage security. Your PGAS account page opens in a new tab, and your password is managed from there. If you cannot find a way to change it on that page, sign out and use the forgot-password steps above.

When an administrator resets your password

An administrator can reset your password, for example if your account may have been used by someone else. When that happens:

  • Your old password stops working immediately.
  • You are signed out of PGAS single sign-on, in every browser. Any EOMIS tab you still have open will send you to the sign-in page within about 15 minutes.
  • No new password is sent to you. To get back in, follow Forgot your password? and choose a new password yourself.

If your password stops working and you did not expect a reset, set a new one through Forgot password? straight away and tell your administrator.
